1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is what you would typically wear to a church service.

2. What will the weather be like this time of the year?

Daily high temperatures in Myrtle Beach in May generally range from 75- 81 and no higher than 88 during the day. At night, temperatures rarely fall below 69. As the date approaches, a more accurate forecast will be added.

3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception for our wedding will take place at Pine Lakes Country Club, 5603 Granddaddy Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

4. Will the wedding and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held indoors.

5. What happens after the ceremony?

The ceremony is followed by a cocktail hour, giving the wedding party time to have photographs taken. There will be drinks and passed hors d'ouevres available.

6. Are there other wedding events I can attend?

All guests will be attending the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception.

7. Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

We have limited our rehearsal dinner to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

8. How do I get to the wedding venue?

You may enter the address into your GPS device, your phone's map app, or visit the venue's website to get directions from your specific location. (www.pinelakes.com)

9. What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. The ceremony will begin at 4:00, so plan to arrive at 3:30.

10. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Guests will park at Pine Lakes Country Club. There will be signs to guide you to the wedding location. Parking is free for all guests.

11. Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

12. Can I bring a plus one?

Every guest who received an invitation is allowed to bring ONE adult with them to the event.

13. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Hotel rooms are provided only for members of our wedding party who are coming from out of state.

14. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

We ask that you reply to your RSVP no later than March 20, 2025. A small card with a QR code is included with the invitation. It will allow you to RSVP on this website.

15. Are the wedding and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. There will be venue staff available to help guests find the ramp that leads to the ceremony site.

16. Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

There will be drinks and passed hors d'eourves available.

17. Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

There will be a sit-down dinner served at the reception. Details are still being finalized.

18. Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Gluten-free options will be available. Other accomodations will depend upon responses from guests' RSVPs. If you have any allergies or concerns about our dining options, feel free to address them via the bride's email provided.

19. Where are you registered?

Registry is included on our wedding website. Feel free to select from our list of gifts with various price ranges, or donate any amount of your choice to our Honeymoon fund!

20. Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

If you're traveling for our wedding, your mere attendence is a gift to us! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home.

22. Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest, or things to do?

We are a little unfamiliar with points of interest directly around the venue, although we can provide you with some of our local faves! Gregg's burger bar - Murrells Inlet.
